Philosophy
"Where Children Learn Through Play"
Global maintains the strong belief that “children learn through play.” Global meets the unique needs of children by allowing them to choose engaging activities that interest them and promote safe and healthy learning. We recognize the importance of nurturing, guiding, and providing options to each individual to make their experiences rewarding in a diverse and caring environment. We pride ourselves on our ability to learn the socioeconomic and cultural needs of the communities we serve to ensure that our objectives and goals are met.

To date, we operate fourteen Global Children’s Center locations in Montgomery County with centers spanning from Silver Spring to Poolesville, MD. We have over a thousand children enrolled in our various programs throughout the county. Additionally, Global provides camps during the summertime to allow parents and students to have a fun, seamless transition from the school year to summer. We are proud to have maintained the integrity and essence of our program throughout our growth and expansion. Our programming has remained high quality, at an affordable rate, with a passionate, experienced staff that exude the family values which formed the company.

Frequently Asked Questions
How do I pay tuition?
There are multiple ways to pay tuition. One way is to pay through your Procare parent portal. Another way is to mail a check to our office. The third way is to wait for us to automatically charge your payment method from the tuition form on the last Friday of each month. There is a 3% fee with credit card transactions.
Do I pay for days my child doesn't attend?
Yes, we work on contracted attendance. That means that you tell us what days your child will come and we reserve a spot for your child on those days. If your child does not come on one day that spot is still reserved for them, so you still have to pay. You can read more about our policies in our parent handbook.

In general, we have a ratio of 1:15, and during outdoor activities and field trips we have a ratio of 1:10

If MCPS schools have a two-hour delay and administration offices open on time, Global will be open at 6:30AM.

If MCPS schools have a two-hour delay and administration offices also open on a two-hour delay, Global opens at 9:00AM.

If MCPS schools are closed and administration offices are on a two or three-hour delay, Global will be open at 10:30AM if it is a two-hour delay and 11:00AM for a three-hour delay.

If MCPS schools and administrative offices are closed, Global will be closed.
